Nadine Chaney Obituary

CHANEY KERNERSVILLE - Mrs. Nadine Ring Chaney, 69, of Kernersville passed away Saturday, May 30, 2009 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born August 22, 1939 in Rockingham County to Lewis and Phoebe Corthen Ring. She was a member of Triad Baptist Church. Nadine was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and touched the lives of all who knew her. She was preceded in death by a son, Michael Ray Chaney. Surviving are her husband of 53 years, Howard E. Chaney; two daughters, Sharon Hall and husband, Gary of Welcome and Deborah Hopper of Eden; a son, Robert Chaney and wife, Tammy of Winston-Salem; three grandchildren; one great grandchild; and a brother, James E. Ring of Kernersville. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens with Rev. Tim White officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, N.C. 27103. Online condolences may be made at www.hayworth-miller.com.

Nadine was a loving friend and will never be forgotten,I met her at church and have loving memories.May the family find peace in thier hearts with their loss.

Uncle Howard and Family,

We are so sorry to hear of Aunt Nadines passing and sorry we were not able to join you for her memorial service. I will always remember her as a caring and loving aunt.
