Dear Mrs. Delapp and Family,
I was so saddened to learn of Rene's death. It doesn't seem that long ago that we were trying to "master" Noel Coward's "Hayfever" at Lexington High, and traveling to Wake Forest for their speech competition.
It's been close to 25 years now, but I remember seeing Rene at the Shakespere Festival in High Point when "Hayfever" was one of the plays and we had a great laugh remembering our attempt at mastering Mr. Coward's brand of humor.
Even in high school I knew that Rene would accomplish exceptional goals. I was privileged to know her.
Please accept my deepest sympathy to you and your family.
Sincerely,
Marsha McCrary Garwood
