Our precious loved one, Pamela Lynn Sawyers Shaffer, went to be with the Lord at 7:20 p.m. on August 21,2021 while at Alamance Regional Hospital. She was surrounded by family. Pamela was born in Winston Salem, Forsyth County on July 28, 1967, and was 54 years old when she passed. She is the late daughter of Charles Sawyers and Phyllis Knox Sawyers. They are saddened to announce her passing following her short battle with Covid. She leaves behind two sons William Sessions (wife, Paige Sessions), Andrew Shaffer and her daughter Lydia Shaffer (Fiancé, Malcolm Fisher). Her brother Charles Sawyers Jr. (wife Stephanie Sawyers) and a sister Sherri Sawyers (nephew Mason Shoaf). She leaves behind many grandchildren: Max Sessions, Marshall Sessions, Morris Sessions, Ivy Shaffer, and Raheem Fisher. Pamela enjoyed being around family and friends. She loved making homemade crafts and shared them with many people on YouTube. All of her friends remember the big pink tree she decorated with homemade ornament's that were from all over the world. Pamela would always have a big smile on her face every time she would receive an ornament from someone around the world. She was also a store manager at the age of 23 as she held this position a long time. In addition, she was a hairdresser. She was loved by many people that remember so many great things about her as she would do and give to anyone even if she can't do or get something for herself, she always made sure to help someone in need. Many people have different stories about her, and we would love to hear all of them. Her funeral is being held Saturday, August 28, 2021, at Gardens of Memory in Walkertown 5676 Old Walkertown Rd, Walkertown, N.C. 27051 at 11am.
