Paul Chasteen Obituary
September 28, 1981 - December 31, 2020
On December 31, 2020, Paul Daniel Chasteen left this life and moved on to a new journey. May he be at peace at last. He was a charming, talented, funny soul, and a great friend to many. He is survived by his parents, Barri and Jim Chasteen, his brother Luke Montgomery Chasteen and wife Jessica, his grandparents, Paul and Loretta Chasteen and many aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and cousins. He was deeply loved and will be missed by many.

Paul was my first love, we were together for several years. The things I'll remember most about him was his laugh, that goofy giggle could make a whole room light up. He made friends everywhere he went. But mostly, I remember how much Paul loved his family. He loved Barri, Jim, Luke and Katie so much... and he told me so every day.
I'll miss you Pauly.

My thoughts are with you all right now. I had the opportunity to teach Paul at Salem College, in Earth Science. He often contributed wonderful thoughts in class. We hit a hiccup in my class, and Paul was able to overcome it to finish out the semester well. He was a kind person, and may he have peace.
