Sheridan Hall Obituary

HALL WINSTON-SALEM - Mr. Sheridan Lee Hall, 86, passed away Thursday, November 6, 2008 at Oak Forest Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was born November 27, 1921 in Harvey, West Virginia to Walker and Mildred Hughes Hall. Mr. Hall was a member of Pine Grove United Methodist Church. He loved working outside in his yard and garden. He started a hobby of collecting gemstones and that eventually turned into a small business called Lee Hall Gemstones. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was preceded in death by his parents; and two sons, Allan and Bryan. Surviving are his loving wife of 62 years, Opalee Hall of the home; two daughters, Shari Sinnott, and Lisa Hale and husband, George IV; two sons, Dana Hall and Gregory Hall and wife, Joanne, all of Winston-Salem; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandson. Funeral Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, November 9, at Pine Grove United Methodist Church with the Rev. Neill Shaw officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mr. Hall will be placed in the church 30 minutes prior to the service and the family will receive friends following the service in the Church fellowship hall. Memorials may be made to Pine Grove United Methodist Church, 1130 Jonestown Road, Winston-Salem, NC 27103. Online condolences may be made at www.hayworth-miller.com.
