Brannock, Steven Clark

July 1, 1955 - October 11, 2021

Mr. Steven Clark Brannock, 66, of Mount Airy, passed away Monday, October 11, 2021, at Northern Regional Hospital. Mr. Brannock was born July 1, 1955, in Surry County. He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Brannock; his maternal grandmother, Virginia Black; and his maternal grandfather, Vince Self. Steve graduated from Mount Airy High School in 1974. He loved going to football games at Mount Airy High School, car shows in Pigeon Forge, and spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by a son, Eric Brannock and Amanda Clemment of Mount Airy; a daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie and Freddy Badgett of Mount Airy; three grandchildren, Ava Brannock, Madison Badgett, and Ryder Badgett; his mother, Katherine Self Brannock; and a brother and sister-in-law, Mark and Debbie Brannock. A graveside service will be held Friday, October 29, 2021, at 2:00 PM at Skyline Memory Gardens, with the Rev. Bradley L. Quesinberry officiating. No formal visitation will be held.
