RALEIGH - Virginia Fulp Bumgardner, 78, of Raleigh, formerly of Winston-Salem, died Friday, Nov. 29, 2002, at Raleigh Rehabilitation Center. Ginnie was born Oct. 4, 1924, in Winston-Salem to the late Julius Hilton Fulp and Nell Jones Fulp. Surviving are her two children, son Jack Preston Bumgardner Jr. and wife, Cammi, of Winston Salem; daughter Kathryn V. Bumgardner of Raleigh; brother Robert Gene Fulp of Walkertown; two granddaughters, Sarah B. Albritton and Anna F. Bumgardner; and a great-granddaughter, Layla Cameron Albritton. The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 1, 2002, at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home Chapel, Saint Mary's Street, Raleigh. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the funeral home. Interment will be at Forsyth Memorial Park, Winston-Salem. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Wake County, 1300 Saint Mary St., Raleigh, NC 27605.
