BEAVER DAM - Chris Skalitzky, 41, of Beaver Dam, WI, passed away peacefully on October 14, 2023. Born on July 20, 1982, in Beaver Dam, WI.
Chris was a caring and kind-hearted individual who was known for his hard work and sense of humor.
Chris is survived by his mother, Tammy (Brian) Borden; father, John (Debbie) Skalitzky; brother, Eric Skalitzky; grandparents, Charles and Lorraine Phelps; uncle, Mike (Tina) Mengel; ex-wife which was a very dear special friend, Laurie Skalitzky; and stepson, Robert; and other friends and relatives.
He was preceded in death by his infant brother, Shawn and grandparents: Don Mengel, and Alvin and Ruth Skalitzky.
Chris will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He had a strong faith and was an active member of Crosswalk Community Church in which he was rebaptized as a Spiritual Refresher in August.
A special thank you to a few special people in Chris's life that were always there for him: Pastor Randy, Dewey Klapper, Sean Liggins and Matt Herman.
A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date to honor Chris Skalitzky's memory.
May his soul find eternal peace as he is now free.
