MAYVILLE - Leo Charles Ruhland, age 83, of Mayville, WI, passed away on Monday, April 17, 2023 at his home in Mayville.
A funeral service for Leo will be held at the Koepsell Funeral Home in Mayville on Friday, April 21, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Fr. Joe Dominic presiding. A visitation for Leo will be held at the funeral home in Mayville on Friday, April 21, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. Entombment will take place at Rienzi Cemetery in Fond du Lac, WI.
Leo was born the son of Leo and Agnes (Dohrman) Ruhland on November 10, 1939. He was a graduate of Oak Field High School. On November 14, 1964, Leo was united in marriage to Judith Boda in Oakfield, WI. He was a faithful member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Mayville.
Leo worked for many years as a local and over the road truck driver. He also drove the school bus for Mayville School District. Leo treasured his family and loved spending time with them. He enjoyed playing cards and cheering on the Green Bay Packers.
Leo will be deeply missed by his children: Debra (Chad Bennett) Wolter, Anne Ruhland, and Charlene (David Reyes) Ruhland; his grandchildren: Jessica, Christy, Adam, Melissa, Becky, and Jennifer; his ten great-grandchildren; his sister, Helen Bauer; as well as other relatives and friends.
Leo was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Judith, in 2004.
