FOND DU LAC - Marshall L. Christian, 65, of Fond du Lac, passed away peacefully at home on December 19, 2023, with his family at his side. He was born on April 3, 1958, in Beaver Dam, the son of Donald E. and Bonnie (Dinkel) Christian. He was a graduate of Randolph High School, Class of 1976.
On April 12, 1996, he married Deborah Lewis.
Marshall worked on the family farm for 15 years. He then went on to work at Brenner Tank, where he had made several friends and left a lasting impact in over 25 years working there.
He was an active member of Covenant United Methodist Church. Marshall was the type of man who easily made friends and was loved by all who knew him. In his spare time, Marshall enjoyed bowling, having two perfect games, taking care of his lawn, and he loved the Brewers. Traveling to major league stadiums with Deborah was one of his favorite things to do.
He is survived by his wife, Deborah; his children: Robert Sullivan of Oshkosh, Caitlin Sullivan (Alex Jameson) of Vancouver, BC and Samantha Sullivan of Seattle, WA; his grandson, Henry; his mother, Bonnie Christian of Oshkosh; his brother, Mark (Lori) Christian of Oshkosh; his sister, Pat (Rick) Bednarek of Princeton; his father and mother-in-law, Robert and Janet Lewis of Fond du Lac; sister-in-law, Cheryl Lewis of Fond du Lac; his nieces, and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, his brother, Douglas Christian, and his sister-in-law, Marsha Christian.
The family will greet friends and relatives from 4:00-7:00 PM on Thursday, December 21, 2023, at Kurki Funeral Chapel & Crematory, 31 East Division Street, Fond du Lac, and again from 10:00-11:00 AM on Friday, December 22, 2023, at Covenant United Methodist Church, 20 North Marr Street, Fond du Lac. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, December 22, 2023, at Covenant United Methodist Church. Cremation will follow the services.
In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to SSM Cancer Center, who took great care of him the last two and a half years.
