Thomas Lee Augustynowicz

NECEDAH - Thomas Lee Augustynowicz, age 78, of Necedah, WI, passed away on Thursday, July 18, 2024, at Gundersen Health Systems in La Crosse, WI. Tom was born on December 16, 1945 in Milwaukee, WI to Theodore "Ted" and Helen (Dolan) Augustynowicz. He served proudly in the United States Army and was stationed in Germany for two years before being honorably discharged. He was united in marriage to Bonnie Manly-Cianciola in 1990.
He is survived by his wife of almost 35 years, Bonnie Augustynowicz; son, Brad Augustynowicz; sisters, Cheryl (Bill) Wolff and Jan Augustynowicz; and a brother, Tim Augustynowicz; granddaughter, Haylee Augustynowicz; step-children, Tony Cianciola and Nicole Vitters; step-grandchildren, Olivia and Dean Vitters; along with several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Ted and Helen; and a son, Wes Augustynowicz.
According to Tom's wishes, no formal funeral services will be held. The Torkelson Funeral Home of Necedah is assisting the family with arrangements. Online condolences may be offered at www.torkelsonfuneralhome.com.

TOM IS GONE BUT CERTAINLY NOT FORGETTING. HE WAS TALLER THAN MOST OF OUR FELLOW STUDENTS AT BAY VIEW HIGH SCHOOL. HE CUT AN IMPRESSIVE FIGURE AS HE STROLLED DOWN THE HALL. EVERY ONE KNEW "AUGIE".
