Cecelia Kurth Obituary
Wisconsin Rapids - Cecelia "Sallie" Kurth, age 79 died Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at the Waterford Assisted Living of Wisconsin Rapids.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, August 17, 2018 at Ritchay Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids. Rev. Chuck Bradbury will officiate, entombment will take place in Forest Hill Mausoleum. Visitation will be held at Ritchay Funeral Home on Friday from 9:00 - 11:00 AM.
Sallie was born January 9, 1939 in Bancroft, WI to the late Felix and Vivian (Nigh) Bartotto. She married Erwin Kurth on June 28, 1958 in Plainfield, WI, he died January 8, 2001. Sallie was employed as a loan officer at Member's Advantage Credit Union for 27 years. She was an avid Green Bay Packer and Milwaukee Brewers Fan, enjoyed going to local stock car races, bowling on local teams, going out to eat with her girlfriends and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Sallie is survived by her son Kirby (significant other - Kathy Day) Kurth of Wisconsin Rapids, grandchildren: Katie (Todd) Springer of Osseo, WI, Chase and Cole Kurth of Wisconsin Rapids, brother Felix (June) Bartotto of Earlville, IL, sisters: Veta Joslin of Wisconsin Rapids, WI and Beverly (Jim) Bates of Tampa, FL, and is further survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Erwin, infant sister Zelma and nephew Gary Hentges.
