Nicholas Janz Obituary
Warrens - Nicholas L. Janz, age 40, of Warrens, Wisconsin, passed away Monday, July 1, 2019. Nick was born December 21, 1978 to Gary and Bobbi (Schenk) Janz. He was married to the love of his life on May 26, 2007.
Husband. Father. Son. Brother. Uncle. Coach. Friend.
Nick was born and raised in Wisconsin Rapids. He and Amy built their home and life in the country with their children Mackenzie, Jaedyn, and Cooper.
Nick worked at Volk Field for the Department of Military Affairs since 2010.
He is survived by his wife, Amy; children Mackenzie, Jaedyn, and Cooper; parents Gary and Bobbi Janz; sister Sara Janz, brother Jesse (Katharine) Janz, brother Justen Janz, brother-in-law Eric (Rochelle) Christie, sister-in-law Kaitlyn (Kyle) Bain; brother-in-law Jeremy (Carrie) Schumacher; father and mother-in-law Pete and Denyse Schumacher; Grandmother Marjory Schenk; and beloved nieces and nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by brother Brian Janz and brother-in-law Paul Ryszka; grandparents Jesse and Margaret Janz, and Jack Schenk.
Memorial Services will be held Saturday, July 6, 2019, 1:00 p.m. at St. Matthews Lutheran Church, 4285 US Hwy 12, Warrens, WI. Pastor Kory Janneke will officiate. Family and friends are invited for visitation on Saturday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service at the church.

We just loved Nick and will treasure our memories. Our love and support go to his family. We are so saddened at his sudden death. Nick had a lot of gusto for life and he would want you all to carry on. Pete treasures the memory of Nick pushing him in the shopping cart in Fondulac until 4:00 a.m.during wAha state hockey playoffs after hearing of Pete's dad's death that night.

There are no words to describe the feeling of loss of Nick. I offer my sincerest condolences to the entire Janz family. Know that Nick is in God's hands now. His sense of humor was unique to him but I will always remember him as a dedicated dad and friend to all who knew him. Rest in Peace Nick.

I had the great pleasure of working with Nick during his summer employment at Consolidated Papers during summer break from MSTC.
I am deeply saddened to hear of passing of Nick. He lived enjoyed his work and life was going so well for Nick. He had that calm demeaner. To all members of his family you have my most sincere condolences
