Doris N. Beyer

Doris N. Beyer, age 94 of Whitesboro, a daughter of Andrew and Anna (Humphrey) Shulsky, passed away peacefully on February 27, 2025, in her own home, with the care of her loving family surrounding her. She was united in marriage to Richard J. Beyer, Sr. a blessed union of 67 years. Over the years Doris worked at many places throughout the area, notably GE, and UNIVAC; later, retiring from Quality Care. Doris was a devout member of St. Paul's Catholic Church. She was also a member of the Senior Citizen Clubs of Marcy, New York Mills, and Whitesboro. Doris had a zest for life, playing, and often winning, Bingo at the casino, ushering at the Stanley Theater, and wintering in New Smyrna Beach, FL. Making friends and memories along the way. She is survived by her three children, Deborah (Edward) O'Grady, Diane (Tom Wheeler) Hart, and Richard (Colleen) Beyer, Jr.; grandchildren, Scarlett (Rocco), Ryan (Carrie), Paul (Shaunna Krantz), Jessica, Melissa (Dylan), and Amanda; great grandchildren, Isabella, Scarlet Anna, Teagan, Jace, Logan, and Livia; as well as several nieces and nephews; and a special sister in-law, Marilyn Shulsky. In addition to her parents, Doris was predeceased by her beloved husband, Richard; sister and brother in-law, June and Pat Curley; brothers, Jim and John Shulsky. The family would like to thank Hospice and Palliative Care for their exceptional care and compassion. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Doris on Tuesday March 4, at 11:30 AM at St. Paul's Catholic Church, in Whitesboro. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
