Gene Hazlewood Obituary

In Loving Memory Gene Patrick Hazlewood June 22, 1959 - July 3, 2025 WILLIAMSTOWN, NY - Gene Patrick Hazlewood, affectionately known as "Uncle" passed away peacefully on July 3, 2025, in Williamstown, New York, aged 66. Born June 22, 1959, in Fulton, New York, he was the son of the late Merrill and Sheila Hazlewood. Gene devotedly served his country by spending four honorable years in the United States Army, demonstrating unwavering dedication and commitment to his country. A devoted husband of 48 beautiful years, he is survived by his loving wife, Kathy Hazlewood. They raised two children together, Shawn Hazlewood, daughter Shannon Beaulieu (Jim). He has four brothers, Alan, Mark, Ingraham, and Mathew Hazlewood. He has 3 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He will also be greatly missed by two special nieces, Amanda and Caitlin, and two beloved great-nieces, Jasmine and Mariah. Gene was true to his beliefs and proud to be an American. He cherished his moments spent outdoors fishing and hunting. He enjoyed spending time with his family. While he was known for his serious demeanor, those who knew him best appreciated his goofy side. As we say goodbye to Gene, we take comfort in knowing that his spirit will live on in his conspiracy theories and his YouTube videos. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
