Judith E Potter

Judith E. Potter, 75, of Oneida, passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at Oneida Health Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on November 15, 1950, the daughter of Ben and June (Revoir) Rinaldo. Judi was the activities director for Heritage Farms for many years. Her hobbies were writing, shopping, and crafting. However, her favorite pastime was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Surviving are her three daughters, Teri (Angel) Vargas, of Blossvale, Christy (Dean) Stoker, of Oneida Castle, and Tina Potter, of Verona; thirteen grandchildren, Ashley Smith, Rick (Nicole) Rossi, AJ (Samantha) Vargas, Zac (Katrina) Pearo, Seth Vargas, Trinity (Kyle) Hugunine, Cadence Smith, Harley Hugunine, Tanner Smith, Charlie Stoker, Dylan Stoker, Madelyn Hugunine, and Isabel Hugunine; six great-grandchildren, Taylor, Teagin, Graysin, Gia Rossi, Enzo Rossi, and Vinny Rossi; a sister-in-law, Rosalie Rinaldo, of Oneida; and several nieces and nephews. Judith was predeceased by a son, James Patrick Hoose on December 10, 1989; two brothers, Theodore A. "Ted" Rinaldo on February 13, 2000, and Frederick B. "Fred" Rinaldo on February 22, 2021; and an infant sister, June A. Rinaldo on July 16, 1940. The family wishes to express their deepest gratitude to Oneida Health's fourth-floor staff for their kindness and support during this difficult time. A private graveside service ceremony for the family will be held at St. Patrick's Cemetery, Fairview Ave., Oneida, where the Rev. Christopher J. Ballard will officiate. There are no calling hours.
