In Loving Memory Ruby C. Walker July 11, 1963 – March 11, 2026 CAMDEN, NY - Ruby C. Walker, 62, of Camden, NY; passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, with her loving family at her side. She was born in Rome, NY, on July 11,1963 to Robert and Joyce (Willson) Armstrong. Ruby is survived by her husband, Robert, four daughters, Ashley Finn, Nicole Walker(Jonah) Hope Walker, Faith Walker, and son Carl Walker; father and mother in law Raymond and Barbara Smith; a special niece and nephew Amanda and Todd Fuller; her sisters, Belinda (Bobby) Fuller, Shirley ( Lee ) Smith, Brenda (Jim) Mussucci, Sandy (Alby)Garcia and Debbie; seven grandchildren Ellarose Frost, Alisa Finn, Lilly Finn, Jennamae Frost, Noah Frost, Bruce Walker, and Waylon Finn. She was predeceased by her parents, Joyce and Robert (Willson) Armstrong, her brother Billy Armstrong and Darlene spink. Robert and Ruby met in Forest Park the two got bored one day and decided to get married on June 7, 1985. They started a family in 1988. Ruby attended Camden Central Schools. Ruby had several jobs through her life including Blue Bar Oil as a Delivery Woman, Harden Furniture, Omega Wire and the old Atlantic Station. Her final job before her illness was Shift supervisor at Kinney Drugs. She was also a member of the Florence Fire Department. She enjoyed camping with her family and friends including Robert and Robin Jones. She was an animal lover and loved to feed the birds she loved to play bingo with her family and friends and walking her dog Bella who has already crossed the rainbow bridge. Ruby was loving and caring and would give you the shirt off her back, always smiling. Relatives and Friends are invited to Calling Hours from 12 – 2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, from LaRobardiere Funeral Home, 109 Main Street, Camden, NY. Graveside Services will be following in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Camden, NY. As ruby would always say, "I hear ya".
