Shirley Boxall Obituary

Shirley Nunez Boxall, 66, passed away October 3, 2025, at the Grand Nursing Home in Rome, NY. She was born September 26, 1959, in the Philippines to Oliver W. Nunez and Ludilla Valencia Custodio. Shirley married Robert Boxall in March 1987, in the Philippines. As members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, they were later sealed in the Orlando, Florida Temple for time and all eternity. Shirley shared her love with everyone she met. She enjoyed being a teacher's aide with many children, she was an accomplished gardener, an excellent cook, and loved animals. Shirley is survived by her husband, Robert; and siblings, Roger, Alex, Yogi, Andy and Ba in Las Vegas. She was predeceased by her parents; a sister, Olivia; and a brother, Oliver, Jr. Funeral services are Saturday, October 11, at 10:00 a.m., at Dimbleby Funeral Homes, Inc.,40 Main St., Whitesboro. Interment will be in Townsend Cemetery, Stittville. Online messages of sympathy and memorial tributes may be left at www.dimblebyfh.com.
