Huang Leng Ng

1944 - 2025

Ng Huang Leng / Huang Leng Ng (US) Passed away peacefully on the 19th of April 2025 in West Lafayette, Indiana He will be missed, fondly remembered and forever cherished by all his loved ones. Huang Leng was born to the late Ng Theng Kwang and Chan Chew Boei. In addition to his parents, Huang Leng was predeceased by his brothers Ng Huang Keat, Ng Huang Chin, and Ng Huang Keong. He is survived by his wife of almost 55 years, Wong Nan Yin, his daughters Ng Huey Lin, Ng Huey Chiun and Ng Huey Mei, son-in-law Arnold Chen and his grandchildren Chloe Chen and Miles Chen, brother Ng Huang Chia, sisters Ng Huang Lean and Ng Huang Looi, as well as a large extended family. Prior to his retirement, he was a high school physics teacher who touched many lives with his passion for teaching and whose mentorship had guided many students to successful lives and careers. With his audio and visual skills, he led several memorable high school concerts and performances. He was known to be a tinkerer, a local "Macgyver" who could fix anything. While he possessed many special skills, his greatest was his ability to fall asleep anywhere whereby he never failed to embarrass his children by snoring loudly at a classical concert where they were performing or at a shoe shopping excursion. His Memorial Service will take place at the Tippecanoe Memory Gardens, 1718 W 350 N, West Lafayette, IN 47906, in the Funeral Chapel.
