Jeremy Rice, age 43, passed away on Wednesday, March 26, 2025. Born on September 14, 1981, in Lafayette, he was the cherished son of Spyke Rice and Faye Johnson. A man of deep love for his family and a heart full of generosity, Jeremy left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing him. He enjoyed life to the fullest, whether riding his motorcycle, embracing the beauty of the outdoors, or spending quality time with his beloved wife, Trystan Rice, and his daughters. His family meant everything to him, and his warmth, kindness, and unwavering support touched the lives of everyone around him. A proud graduate of Jefferson High School, Class of 1999, Jeremy went on to build a successful career by founding his own construction company, where his dedication and work ethic were always evident. He had an extraordinary ability to see the best in others and was always ready to offer a helping hand. He lived his life with integrity, compassion, and a desire to make the world around him a better place. On January 24, Jeremy married his soulmate, Trystan, and their bond was a testament to his commitment and love. Together, they shared many moments of happiness and adventure. Though his passing leaves an immense void, his spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched. He will be profoundly missed, but his legacy of love, kindness, and generosity will never be forgotten. Jeremy is survived by his mother, Faye (David) Johnson; his loving wife, Trystan (Green) Rice; his children, Kaydince Shay, Raelei Jae, Malaki, Ryder, and Luna; his brother, Jason (Richlyn) Rice, and Darren Yeary; and his sister and best friend, Candace Rice-Oliver. He is also survived by his nephews, Joey, Koltin, Blaydin Oliver, Aiden and Avery Rice; and his nieces, Addison Oliver, and Allie Rice. He was preceded in death by his father, Spyke Rice, and uncle, Audi Rice. Family and friends may visit from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 2, 2025 at Tippecanoe Funeral Chapel. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at Tippecanoe Funeral Chapel, 3631 Morehouse Road, West Lafayette, Indiana. Burial will follow.
