Allison Lanoue Obituary
NORTH SMITHFIELD -
Allison N. (Pray) Lanoue 51, of North Smithfield passed away Sunday, September 29, 2024 at Hope Health Hospice & Palliative Care Center in Providence. She was the beloved wife of Kevin
Lanoue.
Allison was born in Pawtucket, the daughter of Pauline (Remillard) Pray and the late Kenneth Pray.
She was a cosmetologist/hairdresser for most of her life and worked for Kathy's Place on Cass Ave in Woonsocket for over twenty years.
Allison was a lover of music and was a consummate caregiver, a good listener, and was much loved and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her husband and mother she is survived by her cherished children; Logan and Julia Lanoue.
Her funeral will be held Wednesday, October 9, 2024 at 10:00 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St, Woonsocket with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in St. John's Church, Slatersville, RI. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Visiting hours will be Tuesday 5-7 PM.

Allison was my hairdresser years ago...what a beautiful person in and out....I was excited when I realized her Mom Pauline, was a good friend of mine in high school. I wish, if Pauline is reading this that she please call me! My no. Is 401-301-4010. I am so sorry.

Allison was my hairdresser for many years. I so enjoyed the times we chatted as she styled my hair. Back then, I was working. She would come into work at 7am on Saturdays, knowing that I had to be at work by 8am.
She went the extra mile. I never felt like a client. When I sat in her chair, I was her friend.
She SO loved Kevin, Logan and Julia! Our conversations always included talk of her very precious family.
May your loved ones take comfort in knowing that our Good Lord is holding you, lovingly, in the palms of His hands.

Something I will always remember about Allison is Halloween night.
Allison is my cousin and when we were younger her home was our last stop. While the adults caught up the kids quickly ran off to count, switch and eat a piece or two of candy . May you be at peace Allison. Prayers to her husband, children and mother
