Anna Machado

CUMBERLAND - MACHADO, Anna (Lourenco), 83, of Cumberland, passed away on Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at Hope Hospice and Palliative Care, Providence.

Born in Cumberland, she was the daughter of the late Fernando and Maria (Albuquerque) Lourenco. She resided in Cumberland for most of her life.

Mrs. Machado dedicated her life to the care of her family.

Anna was a communicant of the Our Lady of Fatima Church, Cumberland. She enjoyed tennis, music, dancing, cleaning and cooking but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. Those who love her will always remember her generous heart and sense of humor.

She leaves her two daughters, Joanne Vadnais and her husband Bob of Pawtucket and Lisa Machado of Pawtucket; her grandchildren, Derek and Elliott Vadnais of Pawtucket; her brother, John Lourenco of Cumberland, her three sisters, Madeline Alexio of Delaware, Alice Rebelo of Cumberland and Ida Mendes of Connecticut; She was the sister of the late Albertino Lourenco and Olinda Costa.

Due to COVID-19, services will be private.

Family and friends are invited to join the live-stream of her funeral mass on her memorial page on the funeral home website Saturday, February 20th at 11 AM.
