Anna M. O'Rourke

WOONSOCKET - Anna M. (Kilcline) O'Rourke, 100, of Woonsocket, died Dec. 11, 2015, on her 76th wedding anniversary, at The Friendly Home in Woonsocket. She was the wife of the late James P. O'Rourke. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late John Francis and Helen Frances (Skiffington) Kilcline.

She was employed by the former Fogarty Memorial Hospital as a switchboard operator, before retiring in 1985.

She is survived by two daughters, Judith Ethier, and her husband, Paul, of Nasonville; and Kathleen Cunha, and her husband, John, of Lincoln; a daughter-in-law, Marcia O'Rourke, of North Kingstown; 10 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son, detective patrolman of the Woonsocket Police Department, Robert J. O'Rourke; her brother, John Francis Kilcline; and a granddaughter, Tricia Judith Hopkins.

Her funeral will be Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2015, at 9 a.m. from the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Charles Church, 190 North Main St., Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. Charles Cemetery, Farm Street, Blackstone. Calling hours will be held Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m. in the funeral home.
