Anna M. Rourke

WOONSOCKET - Anna M. (Kilcline) O'Rourke, 100, of Woonsocket, died December 11, 2015, on her 76th wedding anniversary, at The Friendly Home in Woonsocket. She was the wife of the late James P. O'Rourke. Born in Woonsocket, RI, she was the daughter of the late John Francis and Helen Frances (Skiffington) Kilcline.
She was employed by the former Fogarty Memorial Hospital as a switchboard operator, before retiring in 1985.
She is survived by two daughters, Judith Ethier and her husband, Paul, of Nasonville, RI, and Kathleen Cunha, and her husband, John, of Lincoln, RI, daughter in law, Marcia O'Rourke of North Kingston, ten grandchildren and twenty one great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son, detective patrolman Woonsocket Police Dept., Robert J. O'Rourke, her brother John Francis Kilcline and granddaughter, Tricia Judith Hopkins.
Her funeral will be Wednesday, December 16, 2015, at 9 AM from the Holt Funeral Home, 510 So. Main St., Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. Charles Church, 190 No. Main St., Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. Charles Cemetery, Farm Street, Blackstone, MA. Calling hours will be held Tuesday from 5-7 PM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Prevent Child Abuse America, 228 S.
