Barbara Hemond Obituary
She was the owner and operator of the former RoBar Ceramics of Cumberland for many years. Mrs. Hemond was later employed as a Manager for Hallmark until her retirement.
She was a communicant of St. Patrick Church. She loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She leaves her children, Michele "Shelly" Brassard and her husband Paul of Lincoln, Robert Hemond Jr. and his wife Jean of Cumberland and Lisa James and her husband Doug of Coventry; her siblings, Diane Lavallee, Carol Forte, Rene Bessette Jr., Linda Zalesky, Edward Bessette, Margaret Bessette, William Bessette, Mary Reiss, and Elizabeth Salisbury; five grandchildren, Zachary Hemond, Joshua Hemond, Abagail James, Michael Brassard and Courtney James; as well as several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of her life will be held Friday at 9 AM from the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Rt. 122, Cumberland. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. Patrick Church, Broad Street, Cumberland. Burial will follow in the Resurrection Cemetery. Relatives and friends are kindly invited.
