Barbara Logan Obituary
Barry N. Logan. Born in Jersey City, NJ., she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Elizabeth (DeLargy) Gately. She resided in Cumberland for the past 60 years, previously residing in Pawtucket.
She was an avid tennis player and loved to paint.
She was a communicant of the former St. Patrick Church, Cumberland.
Mrs. Logan was formerly a teacher's aide for the Cumberland School Department until her retirement in 2006, specializing in assisting special needs students.
Along with her husband she is survived by her children; Barry R. Logan and his wife Victoria of Burrillville, Beth A. DeAngelo and her husband Michael of Southington, CT., Barbara E. Gervais and her husband Robert of Rehoboth, MA, Brenda R. Logan of North Attleboro, MA and Brian T. Logan and his wife Diane of Santa Clara, CA. One sister Margaret Gately of Pawtucket and one brother Richard Gately and his wife Martha of Naples, FL. Four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to Barbara's Life Celebration beginning on Thursday January 24, 2019 with visiting hours from 4 PM to 7 PM, followed by a Prayer Service at 6:30 PM in the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home 757 Mendon Road Cumberland, RI.
