Barbara M. Warren

CUMBERLAND - Barbara M. (Hayse) Warren, 67, of Cumberland, died July 14, 2016, in Mt. St. Rita Health Center. She was the wife of the late Samuel J. Warren. Born in Pontotoc, MS, she was the daughter of the late Linson F. and Mabel I. (Chesteen) Hayse.
Barbara worked as an educator for the Church of Our Lord, Jesus Christ in Cumberland. She ran the church school and enjoyed providing child care for families as a nanny.
She is survived by two sons, Amos Warren and his wife Kristin of Attleboro, MA, and Marcus Warren and his wife Amber of Cumberland; eight sisters, Dorothy Glasgow, Freida Hayse, Betty Roach, Brenda McDaniels, all of TN, Cathy Vezina, Gloria Jacobson, both of Cumberland, Geanie Sago of OK, and Esther Florence of Woonsocket; three brothers, Lonnie, Reed, and Ronnie Hayse, all of TN, as well as two grandchildren, Samuel Warren and Abigail Warren.
Her funeral will be held Tuesday, July 26, 2016, at 10 AM in the Apostolic Pentecostal Church of Rhode Island, 537 Elm St. Woonsocket. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery, 210 Rathbun Street, Woonsocket. Calling hours will be held Monday, July 25, 2016, from 4 - 8 PM in the Holt Funeral Home, 510 S. Main St. Woonsocket.
