Beverly Brown Obituary
Born in Boston, a daughter of the late William J. and Hazel E. (Hillier) Fortier, she lived in Pawtucket for 44 years.
Mrs. Brown enjoyed solving puzzles, playing cards and gardening. A sports enthusiast, she was a devoted New York Giants fan.
She was well respected and loved by her tenants at the mobile park, where she considered each of them family.
Beverly enjoyed spending time with her loving family.
She is survived by three daughters, Hazel A. Hitchen of Rumford, Ruth H. Hitchen of Pawtucket, and Robin G. Beckett, and her husband, John, of Pawtucket; three grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
Her funeral will be held on Friday, May 29, from the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Ave., Riverside, at 10 a.m., with a Funeral Service in Swan Point Chapel, Blackstone Boulevard, Providence, at 11 a.m.
Calling hours are Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. Flowers are respectfully omitted.

My empathy and sympathy goes out to her children and grandchildren. Beverly was a woman way before her time with her business savvy and compassion for all those she encountered. Im am so sorry to hear about Beverly's passing. She was a strong, kind, bright, spunky woman. Very good with business and just a wonderful soul. My prays and my mothers prays are with you and your family. I only wish we got to know each other on better terms and also wish that we had met you a long time ago.Love ad condolences to your family.

Mrs. Brown was always so nice when she would come in and visit us at City Hall. I always looked forward to her visit - one wonderful lady and I will miss her greatly.
