Beverly J. Kavanagh

PAWTUCKET - Beverly J. (Affleck) Kavanagh, 87, passed away Sunday, May 3, 2015. She was the beloved wife of the late Francis J. Kavanagh. A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late William R. and Loretta (Hogan) Affleck. Beverly was a devoted mother, grandmother and friend, she enjoyed nothing more than spending time with her loved ones. A homemaker who was an avid reader, she also enjoyed knitting, crocheting, macramé, seafood and collecting lighthouses.
She leaves her children, William F. Kavanagh of North Providence, Bryan E. Kavanagh of Glocester, Susan J. Kavanagh of Lincoln, Laurie M. Burtchell of North Attleboro and Patrick J. Kavanagh of Pawtucket; five grandsons; four great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandson and many nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Bonnie E. Gallagher and the sister of the late Doris A. White.
Her funeral will be held Friday at 9 a.m. from WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Teresa Church, 358 Newport Ave. Interment will follow at Mt. St. Mary Cemetery. VISITATION will be Thursday 4 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to Mt.
