Beverly J. Provost

WOONSOCKET - Beverly J. (Girard) Provost, 56, of Woonsocket, passed away with her family by her side on September 9, 2021 in Landmark Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Philip M. Provost. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Roland P. and Mary Katherine (Walsh) Girard.

Beverly worked as a medical accountant for 21st Century Oncology, Warwick, and was previously a supervisor at Lady Carrol, Woonsocket. She was a communicant of St. Agatha's Church. Beverly enjoyed traveling, antiquing, fine arts, and shopping. She especially loved the ocean.

She leaves her godson, Brad Girouard, with whom she lived; three brothers, Brian Girard and his wife, Patricia, of North Smithfield, Gary Girard of North Smithfield, and Michael Girard of Warwick; two sisters, Barbara Glode and her husband, David, of Belleview, NE, and Brenda Girouard and her significant other, Freddy, of North Attleboro; several nieces and nephews, including Brandon Girouard of Johnston, Joshua Girard of North Smithfield, Kyle, Kayla, and Klay Glode of Nebraska, and Laila and Bentley Girouard of Johnston.

Her funeral will be held Thursday, September 16, 2021 at 9 AM from the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. Agatha's Church, 34 Joffre Ave., Woonsocket. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland. Calling hours are Wednesday from 4-7 PM.
