Brian Vierstra Obituary
Brian was a Marine Corps veteran. He is survived by two daughters, Nicole and Megan Vierstra; 3 grandsons, Jacob and Isaiah Zayas and Jayden Martinez. He was brother of the late Martin "Skip" Vierstra, Jr.
His memorial service will be held Thursday, June 16, at 10 am at the Kirkbrae Country Club, 197 Old River Road, Lincoln. Burial will be private.

Hey Salty, guess what? The Celtics are in the Finals! They're going for it. And they are killing it. I wish you could see them play. shoot you might just have the best seats. Brian...man i just think about the beautiful, hilarious and loving memories you have left us. I know this is supposed to be a message about you but i want to speak to you. I'm so lucky that i got to speak to you a few months ago i wish i spoke to you more. I can still hear you speaking to me. Sounding like my dad telling me your proud of me. I know you were not blood but God knows you are in my heart.My dad misses more than he expresses. I feel a sadness deep in my heart so i can only imagine how my dad feels. So speak to him, leave him random signs he'll know its you messing with him. Im so lucky to have had you in my life. You will always be my family, my uncle and my dads best friend. Brian was a wonderful person. So full of life!! He was so kind, caring and generous. I thank you for giving me a beautiful daughter. Brian I will never forget the "Last Kiss" Rest in Peace!

Salty was a great guy. He would help out anybody he could and would give you the shirt off his back. He is the first friend my husband met when he moved down here almost 10 years ago. Since then he has pretty much become family to us all. My son looked up to him as an uncle and Salty looked at him as his own nephew. He will be greatly missed. We all love you Salty. May you rest in peace. Your in great hands now and will no longer be suffering in this world.
