Catherine A. Lemay

WOONSOCKET - Catherine A. (Thibault) Lemay, 79, of Highland Street, formerly of Blackstone, died Friday, March 18, 2016, in Rhode Island Hospital with her family by her side. She was the wife of the late Armand G. Lemay.

Born in Woonsocket, daughter of the late William and Hazel (Cleversey) Thibault. Catherine was co-owner of Lemay's Garage in Blackstone, and was also a cashier for Walmart. She also enjoyed being a homemaker.

She was a former member of the Blackstone Milliville Music Association in the 1980s and loved to spend time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her three sons, Joseph Lemay and Sara of Blackstone, David Lemay and Lisa of Woonsocket, and Steven and his wife, Sandra Lemay of Blackstone; one daughter, Kathleen Woodason and her husband John, of North Carolina; one brother, James Thibault of Glendale, and two sisters, Helen Thibault of Uxbridge and Paula Byrne of Blackstone; nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She was also the sister of the late Joseph and William Thibault and Winifred Wolschon.

Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, March 23, 2016, at 9 a.m. from the S.DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, 1583 Diamond Hill Road, Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Paul's Church, 48 St. Paul's St, Blackstone. Burial will be in the Parish Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited; calling hours are on Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m.
