Catherine Ann Powers

BELLINGHAM-Catherine Ann (MacDonald) Powers, 77, of Bellingham, passed away peacefully at home on June 10, 2015, with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Ronald O. Powers, Sr.

She was the loving mother of Ronald O. Powers, Jr. and his wife, Lisa of Millville, John Powers of Bellingham, Robert Powers of Colorado, Debra Powers and her partner, Alfred Fafard, Jr. of Webster, Mass., Jean Salamone of Colorado and the beloved Diana Martin and her husband, Francis Martin of Woonsocket. She leaves her cherished grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was the sister of Catherine Isabella Hutchinson of Brockton, Jeannette Francis of Watertown, Mass., and Mary Santiago of Brockton.

A resident of Bellingham for over 50 years, formerly of Boston, she worked as a CNA at nursing homes.
She enjoyed crocheting, bowling and shopping. Her greatest joy was her grandchildren. Devoted to her family, she will be greatly missed.

Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, June 17, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m. at St. Blaise Church, 1158 So. Main St. (Rte 126), Bellingham. Interment will follow at the Scott Cemetery, Bellingham.
