Chad Laforest Obituary
He was born in Woonsocket, son of Walter Laforest and his wife Julie of Woonsocket, and Debra Laforest and her significant other Don Miller, both of Wrentham. He is survived by one brother, Robert Laforest and his fiancé Kelly Lonchay of Woonsocket; two sisters, Melissa Landry and her husband Willie of Mendon,. and Leigh Laforest of Woonsocket; his maternal grandmother, Claudette Grenier of Florida and paternal grandmother, Denise Duarte of Woonsocket; four nieces and four nephews.
Chad was a former welder for Boston Trailer Manufacturing Co. He was an avid fisherman and was passionate about animal rescue.
Calling hours will be Thursday from 2 to 5 p.m. prior to a funeral home service that will be held at 5 in the S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, 1583 Diamond Hill Road, Woonsocket. Relatives and friends are invited. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Divine Intervention Animal Rescue of RI, 65 Eagle Road, Cranston RI 02920 in Chad's memory would be appreciated. sdipardomcfh.com

I'm Cathy Montgomery and my son's name is Tyler Estep. I don't know if you ever heard Chad talk about Tyler but the two were very close friends. Chad use to stay at our house a good bit and it was always a joy to have him. He was always so kind especially to my mean cat that no one likes but Chad did and my cat liked him too! Chad was a kind, gentle soul, always cheerful, and offering to help me whenever he could. Tyler is devastated over his passing. We all are. We are praying for healing for your family. RIP Chad. You will be so greatly missed!
