Charles Mello Obituary
Chuck was a U.S. Navy Vietnam veteran who served honorably for four years aboard the Saratoga and USS Firedrake and earned seven battle stars. He was a supervisor at the former Millbrooke Reel Company, Pawtucket for over twenty-five years, and was also a caddy at Wannamoisett Country Club, Rumford for over fifty years.
Besides his loving companion and his mother, he leaves a son, Charles C. Mello of Pawtucket; four siblings, Joseph E. Mello, Jr. of Attleboro, Eleanor G. Mello, Jr. of Pawtucket, Karen G. Mello of Attleboro and Steven E. Mello and his wife, Renee of Lincoln and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
His funeral with Military Honors will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m. from WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. in St. Teresa Church, 358 Newport Ave. VISITATION will be TODAY, Thursday 4 to 7 p.m. Please omit flowers, memorial gifts to Hope Hospice & Palliative Care Rhode Island, 1085 North Main St., Providence, RI 02904 would be appreciated.

Very sorry and saddened to hear of the passing of Chucky. I have known him since I was a young boy, my dad Eugene BENOIT used to take me to the 2ND Ward bar. My dad has also past away almost a year ago, they was good friends.
