WOONSOCKET - Christopher John Nason, 48, passed away on May 5, 2016. Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of Ralph E. Nason and Suzanne Gazaille Hannon, and step-son of Vicki Cassidy Nason. Besides his parents Christopher is loved by his son, Ryan Nason and his sisters, Kellie Ann Nason and Danielle Louise Gasbarro and her husband, Chris
Christopher was known by his presence - at 6ft 7in tall - his stature was intimidating; however he was extremely kind and gentle giant. Not only kind at heart, he was compassionate, caring, good natured and friendly - made friends wherever he went. His smile and laughter were contagious and you always found yourself laughing along. Christopher was a graduate of the New England Institute of Technology
He loved the Patriots, fishing, cooking, cook outs, family gatherings and he was a master at scrabble. Christopher's level of intelligence often left people in awe and people could always count on his keen memory to bring you back to the special memories shared together. He loved to swim - truly a fish out of water. He courageously fought a secret battle, few could understand. May Christopher be at peace on the shores of Lake Hiawatha, his childhood home and favorite place to be.
Calling hours and celebration of Christopher's life will be held on Thursday from 7 - 9 PM in the A.A. Mariani and Son Funeral Home, 200 Hawkins St., Providence. Burial will be private.
