Claire Reddick Obituary

LINCOLN - Claire Y. (Castilloux) Reddick, 80, of Lincoln, passed to eternal life Thursday, March 3rd, with her loving family by her side. Claire was the beloved wife of the late Sgt Paul F. Reddick, E.P.P.D.(Ret). Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late Leo and Doris (Duphily) Castilloux.

Claire was a graduate of East (Tolman) High School and of Hubbard Business School, both of Pawtucket. After serving as a member of the United States Air Force, Claire was employed as the bookkeeper for Lorraine Mills Fabric Store in Pawtucket for many years. She enjoyed traveling, especially to Cape Cod, Florida, and Hawaii. Claire had many hobbies including word puzzles and reading as well as playing cards and board games. She was a particularly fierce competitor of Parcheesi and Canasta. Claire's gracious and fun-loving personality will be missed by family and friends as well as numerous longtime medical and business associates-turned-friends whose hearts will forever remember her.

She is survived by her sisters, Janet Labonte of Harrisville RI, Lucille (Robert Sr) Baron of Pawtucket RI, and Dorothy Lucas of Bethany CT. She was the sister of the late John, Henry, and Gerald Castilloux, and stepmother of the late Megan Reddick. Claire is also survived by her "sister"-cousin Virginia Salois of North Attleboro, MA, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Claire's family expresses its profound gratitude to the medical professionals and caregivers who so lovingly cared for her throughout the years.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to a Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, March 8th at 12:00 PM in Saint Joseph Church of Holy Family Parish, 195 Walcott Street, Pawtucket. Burial with military honors will follow in RI Veterans Cemetery, 301 South County Trail, Exeter. Visiting hours Monday from 5-7 PM in the Costigan-O'Neill Funeral Home 220 Cottage Street, Pawtucket. In lieu of flowers, donations to Operation Stand Down, 1010 Hartford Avenue, Johnston, RI, 02919, in memory of Claire, would be greatly appreciated. The family requests that all guests please wear a facemask. Arrangements by Costigan-O'Neill Funeral Home, Pawtucket,

I just found out of Claire's passing. I had last spoke to her when my father, Richard Silva, passed away a couple years ago. Claire and Paul were my godparents. I wish I had known she had passed. I have so many great memories! I love the slideshow that was created on this page. I see there is a picture of my grandmother, Anna Gamache, Claire and my sister and I. She will be missed!!
