Crystle Pierel Obituary
Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of Judy (Ferrio) Pierel of Woonsocket and Daniel Pierel. She spent most of her life in Melbourne, FL, and had recently returned to Rhode Island to raise her family.
Crystle was a 2004 graduate of Liberty High School, Melbourne, FL and attended Brevard Community College, Melbourne, FL. She was an All-Star Cheerleader, starting with Pee-Wee in elementary school, and joining an All-Star team in middle school, and later competing nationwide. She was a server at Chili's Restaurant, Lincoln, RI. Crystle was an avid Patriots fan and enjoyed fishing. She loved spending time in the sun, especially in Florida, but most of all enjoyed family outings and spending time with her daughter.
Besides her parents, she leaves her daughter Guiliana Pierel of Woonsocket, her companion, Freddy Raymond of Woonsocket, her brother, Christopher Gaydos of Melbourne, FL; her paternal grandfather, Emile Pierel of Cumberland; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 10, 2016, from 5 - 7 PM in the Holt Funeral Home, 510 So. Main St., Woonsocket, followed by a service at 7 PM. Burial will be private. www.holtfuenralhome.com

Some days seem long and cold and the day you went to rest was one of them. I will never forget the great times we share. Going Down to FL and just hanging out with you, or when you moved back up in high school. Life may have dragged us in different ways, but one thing it could never do is spilt a family bond. Our thoughts are with you and we pray for the enteral rest and happiness for you. Any person that did know you would say she was a wild and crazy girl, but would help you out if she could. A heart of gold you do have and I will miss you deeply. I Love You cousin, please shine over us all and guide us though life.

My crittles so many memories OMG we grew apart through the years but we were definitely still so so sooo close I lovvveee you sooo much and still can't believe this it doesn't seem real I'm so sorry that I couldn't make it to the service for you as much as I wish I could it just isn't possible financially right now especially with my lil guy.. Shine bright like a diamond my love you will never ever be forgotten.... I'm so proud of the struggles we both have overcome and awesome mother's we have become.. My crittle bug I love you RIH

Crystle...aka miss sassafras.... I love and admire you more than you will ever know! You were my lil sister and I had you ever other weekend! Not sisters by blood but sisters by choice! You taught me to be myself and to be proud of where I have come from! You taught me to be real and to not be ashamed of past mistakes!I will always remember our 2 for 20$ steak dinners at Applebee's, gettin our tan on, Eau Gallie and Savannahs! Moving in less than 24 hours, Melbourne drama/saga, church, tears, laughter, shopping and ped egg! I am so proud of the person you became and the mother that you are! You still cussed like a sailor and were ruff around the edges at times but overall, you have a heart of gold and you overcame so much in a short period of time! Everyone can't help but love your crazy butt! You are a great example of what God can do for you if you just cooperate a tad! You will never ever be forgotten and we will all treasure our time that we had with you on earth! Baby angel I know you are in heaven and we will see each other again! Love you always!

John and I were able to reconnect with Crystle this past year, and her words to me were among the most healing I have ever received. She had grown up, yet was still so full of her vivacious energy. I was happy to also learn that she had become a mother. Parenthood is such a gift, and I am glad she was able to experience it. Crystle's success, like Austin's took more than most have to give, and inspired us all. He would be so proud of her. I find myself with the same prayer that has gotten me through these ten years: "Thank you for the time we had; the love we found; the peace we made. IT WAS NOT ENOUGH, but it was better than less." I don't know what I believe, but in this moment I imagine Crystle and Austin together for the journey they both must start ahead of us. John and I will miss her.
