BELLINGHAM - Daniel R. Connor, 77, of Bellingham, MA passed away on Saturday, August 8, 2015 at the Rose Monahan Hospice Home in Worcester, MA with his loving family by his side. He was the beloved husband of the late Edna M. (MacVarish) Connor. Born in Boston, MA on August 20, 1937, he was the son of the late Joseph and Mildred (Rowe) Connor. He was the loving father of Richard D. Connor and his wife, Carol of Douglas, MA, Caryn M. Bourget and her husband, Lawrence of Warren, MA, and Catherine A. Downey and her husband, David of Bellingham, MA. He leaves his cherished five grandchildren and his great-granddaughter. He was the brother of Joseph Connor of Hawaii, Paul Connor of Franklin, NH and the late Robert Connor and Margaret Connor.
Mr. Connor was a resident of Bellingham for over 50 years formerly of Boston. He worked as an electrician for the Union Local 103 IBEW in Boston for 45 years until retiring in 2001.
He was a United States Army Veteran attaining the rank of SP4.
He was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Franklin, MA, and the American Legion Post 367 of Medway, MA. He was a communicant of St. Brendan's Church, Bellingham. Also, he enjoyed traveling. Devoted to his family, he will be greatly missed.
Funeral will be held on Friday, August 14th with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM at St. Brendan's Church, 384 Hartford Ave., Bellingham.
