1946 - 2021

MILLVILLE - Daniel J. Ducharme, Sr.,75, of West St. died Tuesday, June 8, 2021 in Norwood Healthcare, Norwood.

Mr. Ducharme was employed for many years as a Quality Specalist for Vacumet Corporation in Franklin.

Mr. Ducharme was born May 17, 1946 in Pawtucket, RI the son of the late Rene D. and Florence (Dixon) Ducharme.

Mr. Ducharme served in the U. S. Navy.

Daniel enjoyed family events and fishing with his son. In his younger days, he enjoyed square dancing. He also was involved with the Boy Scouts of America and was a foster parent to over 30 children. His good sense of humor and warm heart will be greatly missed.

Mr. Ducharme is survived by a son Daniel J. and his wife Debora Ducharme, Jr., a daughter Danielle A. and her husband Daniel Wilson all of Millville; a brother: Paul F. Ducharme of KY; five sisters Barbara J. Burns of North Attleboro and Kathleen Lenihan of TX, Pauline Imbruglia and her husband Michael of RI, Renee Ducharme of RI and Theresa Ducharme of RI and 4 grandchildren: Nathaniel Wilson, Samantha Ducharme, Arielle Wilson and Sarah Ducharme. He was pre-deceased by one daughter Tracey L. Ducharme who died in 1986 and his brother Thomas R. Ducharme.

A calling hour will be held on Monday, June 21st from 11am-12pm at Buma Funeral Home, 101 N. Main Street, Uxbridge followed by a funeral service in the funeral home at 12pm (noon).
Interment St. Mary's Cemetery, Granite St., Uxbridge.
