Daniel L. Mandeville

1946 - 2018

BELLINGHAM – Daniel L. Mandeville, 71, of Bellingham, passed away on Monday, Feb. 26, 2018, at the West Melbourne Health and Rehab with loving family by his side Born in Woonsocket on Nov. 16, 1946, son of the late Wilfred and Fernande (Langevin) Mandeville, he was the loving father of Scott Mandeville and his wife, Patricia of Micco, Fla., and Keith Mandeville and Debra Bunnell of Bellingham. He leaves his cherished grandchildren, Brittni Booth and Remi Mandeville. He was the brother of Robert Mandeville of Uxbridge. He also leaves his former wife, Muriel J. (Dauphin) Mandeville of Bellingham.

A resident of Bellingham for most of his life, he also resided in Blackstone. Danny owned and operated for over 20 years the Pumpkin Seed on South Main Street, Bellingham, previously the Vegetable Hut for many years; and Daniel and Sons Construction, all of Bellingham.

He was a United States Navy Vietnam War Veteran Amphibious Construction Battalion Two, and received the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with Star, and Vietnam Campaign Medal.

He was a member of the VFW Post 7272 Bellingham, Millerville Men's Club in Blackstone, Cercle Laurier, Woonsocket Elks Lodge #850, and the Italian Workingmen's Club.

He enjoyed trips to Florida, being with people and working in the business growing flowers. Devoted to his family and friends, he will be greatly missed.

Visiting hours are on Monday, March 5, from 5 to 8 p.m. at CARTIER'S FUNERAL HOME, 151 South Main St. (Route 126), Bellingham. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, March 6, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland, with Military Honors.
