David Briere Obituary
2016. Born in Woonsocket, October 31, 1952 he was the son of the late Aurele Joseph Briere and Claire Cavanaugh Briere.
He is survived by his wife Kathy A Hopkins and 3 sons, Jeffrey, Daniel and Timothy Briere of Scituate., a sister, Paulette and husband Frederick Martin of Lincoln, RI, and 4 brothers, Thomas Briere and wife Pat of Murray, KY, John Briere and wife Claire of Woonsocket, Raymond Briere and wife Anne of Richmond, TX and William Briere and wife Toni of Orange, TX, and 2 brothers in law Leo Turgeon of Woonsocket and Leon Haczynski of Florida and many nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by 4 sisters Lucille Turgeon, Janet Haczynski, Lorraine Bertrand, and Sandra Bacon.
He was a mechanic at Frank Kearns Automotive in Woonsocket and Service Manager at Panbro Sales and Service of Providence for many years.
A funeral service will be held Saturday at 12pm in the Keene-Brown Funeral Home, 445 Greenville Road, North Smithfield. Calling hours are prior to the service from 11:00 - 12-00pm. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to The First Universalist Church c/o 175 Cherry Farm Road, Harrisville, RI 02830 www.brownfuneralhomes.com
