David R. Henault

1954 - 2022

BLACKSTONE - David R. Henault, 67, of Blackstone, MA passed away on Sunday, May 29, 2022 at home peacefully in his sleep. David is the loving father of Jason D. Henault of Whitinsville, MA and Erica J. Henault and her late husband, Michael J. Cammuso, Jr. of Charlton, MA. He leaves his cherished grandson Chase A. Henault and the late Andrew J. Henault. Born in Woonsocket, RI on August 24, 1954, he is the son of the late Richard B. and Gloria E. (Daly) Henault. He is the brother of Ronald Henault and his wife, Connie, Susan Ray and her husband Thomas, Gloria Henault, and the late Nancy Salvas. He also leaves his nieces and nephews.

David grew up in Blackstone and lived in surrounding towns spending a number of years in Uxbridge. He worked as a machinist most of his life and spent many years working with close family at West Hill Corporation in Hopedale.

David was a generous man, always offering help when someone was in need. He would give someone the last dollar in his pocket and go without, with no complaints. He enjoyed listening to classic rock and always had his radio on. He had a great sense of humor and was full of wit, remembering punch lines to funny jokes with ease. He enjoyed tinkering with small engines, was a precise painter, and he had a soft spot for animals and elderly people. David will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Funeral will be held on Saturday, June 4th at 8:00AM from Cartier's Funeral Home, 151 So. Main St. (Rte 126), Bellingham, MA with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00AM at St. Paul's Church, 48 Saint Paul St., Blackstone, MA. Visiting hours are on Friday, June 3rd from 5PM to 7PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of David may be made to a charity of your choice.
