David P. Marques

WARWICK - David Peter Marques, 78, of Warwick, formerly of Pawtucket, passed away on Wednsday, February 7, 2024. He was the loving husband of Carol (Smitherman) Marques. Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of Alice (Ridolfi) Marques and the

late Joseph

Marques.

David received his Bachelor's Degree from Bryant University. He proudly served in the United States Army in Germany and went on to work as a Finance Manager in truck financing.

Alongside his wife and mother, David is survived by his beloved daughter, Alicia Marques Jordan (Benjamin Jordan) of Warwick, his siblings, JoAnn Vaudry of Pawtucket, Joseph Marques of Pawtucket, and James Marques of North Kingstown, his grandchildren, Aubrey Marques-Jordan, Caroline Marques-Jordan, and Ava Perez, and his beloved canine companion, "Bella".

He was the father of the late Allison Marques.

Funeral Arrangements will be private and have been entrusted to THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Warwick.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: Frank W. and Mary A. Reis Endowment Fund, Bryant University, 1150 Douglas Pike, Smithfield, RI 02917, c/o Brian LaChapelle.
