David Pascal Obituary

CUMBERLAND - David Pascal, 93, of Cumberland, died February 6, 2023 in Mt. St. Rita Health Centre. He was the husband of the late Maria (Schmid) Pascal. Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late Samuel and Yvonne (Nalet) Pascal.

David was a 1956 graduate of Brown University. He served in the Air Force during the Korean War. David worked as a technical writer for over 35 years for Raytheon Technologies and the Foxboro company. He was very active, and even rode his bicycle to the top of Mt. Washington. David was a classical music enthusiast, and could often be found playing the piano after work. David also enjoyed being on his HAM Radio back in the days which was one of his favorite hobbies. He was one of the original signatories of The Blackstone Valley Amateur Radio Club with his call sign being W1ZFV.

He leaves his children, Elizabeth Dzialo of Harrisville, James Pascal of Woonsocket, and Christine "Tina" Pascal Cochrane of Bellingham; three grandchildren, Bruce Dzialo, Jr., Kristen and Jonathan Dzialo. He was predeceased by his son, Daniel Pascal.

Private funeral arrangements were held under the direction of the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket.
