Denise Blanchette Obituary
She was a school nurse in Central Falls for 30 years. She was a member of the Ladies of St. Ann at St. Blaise Church in Bellingham, as well as a member of the Discalced Carmelite Secular Order of the Barrington, RI Monastery Chapter. Denise will be greatly missed.
Funeral will be held on Tuesday, December 6th at 8:00AM from CARTIER'S FUNERAL HOME, 151 So. Main St. (Rte 126), Bellingham, MA with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00AM at St. Blaise Church, 1158 So. Main St., Bellingham. Interment will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery, 359 Daggett Ave., Pawtucket, RI. Visiting hours are on Monday, December 5th from 6PM to 8PM at the funeral home. but I understood and we'd just laugh. My mom did the same thing.

I still miss Denise. She had her opinions and frequently gave me advice. She was also a good friend and made me laugh.

I first met Denise at Broad St. School in Central Falls when I was student teaching. Years later, I was teaching at Broad St. and we became friends. Our friendship grew when I retired. She lived in Bellingham and I in Blackstone. We had many lunches together, especially at The Lafayette House where we joined a Christian women's group. She certainly liked to talk and I enjoyed her many stories. I missed her when she went to Texas but now she is in God's hands. God bless you, Denise!
