Donald Leo Toupin

Donald Leo Toupin 75, of Darlow Dr., formerly of Woonsocket, passed away peacefully December 29, 2021, at home following an eight-month battle with brain cancer. He was the husband of Ann (Richards) Toupin. They celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary this past September. Born in Woonsocket, he was a son of the late Aime and Gabrielle (Perrier) Toupin. Donald was the owner of Toupin Motor Sales for thirty years He was a US Navy Veteran and served on the USS Princeton during the Vietnam War. Don cherished his family. He loved to travel, play golf and was an avid car enthusiast.
Besides his wife he leaves a son Alex Toupin and his wife Samantha of Annapolis, MD, a daughter Darlene Walsh and her husband Sean of Hopewell, NJ, a brother Gerard Toupin and his wife Annette of Waterford, CT, a sister Suzanne Rivers, two granddaughters Reilly and Meriza and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
His funeral will be held Friday, January 7, 2022, at 9:00 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St., Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at Holy Trinity Church, Park Ave., Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery in Manville. Visiting hours are Thursday 5-7 PM. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been created in Dons name for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
