Doris Belleville Obituary

NORTH SMITHFIELD - Doris J. "Dottie" (Beaulieu) Belleville, 95, of North Smithfield, formerly of Woonsocket, died January 22, 2021 in Landmark Medical Center. She was the wife of the late John R. Belleville. Born in Blackstone, MA, she was the daughter of the late Armand and Helen (O'Neill) Beaulieu.

Dottie, and her husband, John, were avid golfers, and members of the Glocester Country Club. She was a communicant of St. Charles Borromeo Church, Woonsocket for many years, and counted the money for their budget until she was 90 years old. She was a volunteer with Meals on Wheels. Dottie loved to travel, visiting many places throughout the United States and Europe with John. At the age of 88, she traveled to Egypt with her daughter, Cynthia, and four months later toured China with her friends. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, and playing bridge. Dottie was a member of many local senior citizen organizations.

She leaves her children, John F. Belleville and his wife, Elaine, of Arizona, and Cynthia Rondeau and her husband, Lucien, of North Smithfield. She was predeceased by two brothers, Armand and Harry Beaulieu.

Private funeral arrangements were held at Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland, under the direction of the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Meals on Wheels of Rhode Island, 70 Bath Street, Providence, RI 02908.
