Doris T. Cibor

1935 - 2015

NORTH SMITHFIELD - Doris T. (Lambert) Cibor, 80, of North Smithfield, RI passed away on Sunday, September 27, 2015 at Landmark Medical Center with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late John E. Cibor, Sr.
Born in Manchester, NH on April 28, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Flavien and Alberta D. (Dubois) Lambert. She was the loving mother of John E. Cibor, Jr. and his Girlfriend, Catherine Enos of North Smithfield, RI, David L. Cibor and his wife, Patricia of Ayer, MA, Catherine M. Peloquin and her husband, Donald of West Carthage, NY, and Elizabeth A. Lussier and her husband, Jacques of North Smithfield, RI. She leaves her cherished 13 grandchildren and her late grandson Timothy Cibor. She was the sister of Yolande Hesketh, David Lambert, Jerry Lambert, Dennis Lambert and the late Claudette Lambert.
Doris was a resident of North Smithfield for 43 years and formerly of Providence. She worked as a computer operator for Amprex/Phillips Electronics for many years until retiring in 1995.
She was a communicant of Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church for over 40 years and was a member and Treasurer of the Ladies Guild. She enjoyed volunteering her time and efforts at many Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church charities and functions as well as many club events. She was a member of the YMCA Senior Fitness Club, the YWCA Apres Midi Club, and the Woonsocket Jazzy Red Hatters. She enjoyed traveling with her late husband and friends, playing bingo, and making her famous fudge. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother always devoted to her family. She will be greatly missed by all.
Funeral will be held on Friday, October 2nd at 9:00AM from CARTIER'S FUNERAL HOME, 151 So. Main St. (Rte 126), Bellingham, MA with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church, 1409 Park Ave., Woonsocket, RI. Interment will follow at 12:00Noon at the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter, RI. Visiting hours are on Thursday, October 1st from 5 to 8PM at the funeral home.
