John E. Cibor Jr.

John E. Cibor, 63, passed away Thursday, October 17, 2024. He was the husband of Catherine L. Cibor. Born in Providence RI, he was the son of the late John E and Doris (Lambert) Cibor.
John was a self-employed self-contractor for many years and was also a salesman for Morton Buildings for 15 years. He lived in North Smithfield for over 20 years before moving to Chepachet in 2020. He loved working around his house and sitting in the yard listening to music. He was always available to lend a hand to family and friends, whenever anyone needed help. John will always be remembered as a practical joker, making people smile, his random acts of kindness and Dad jokes.
In addition to his wife Cathy, he is survived by his daughters Stasia J. Bergeron, her spouse Danny, Ashley E. Cibor and Megan T. Cibor. He is also survived by his brother David, wife Patricia and children John Henry, Nicole and DJ; his sister Catherine Peloquin, her spouse, Donald, their children, Derek, Matthew, Evan and Bryan; sister Elizabeth (Betty) Lussier, her husband Jacque and children Ethan and Emily. John was the Pepe of Arya Bergeron, Camden, Sebastian, Kinsley, Logan, Mason and Cole Enos. He was the son-in-law of Michael and Marta Cahalan and in law of Ann and Ron Letourneau.
